Be on set when we film the sequel to Set Me Free! 

It’s easy–simply watch the film, video yourself talking about it, post to your own Instagram page, and send us your video!

The contest is open from April 4 to April 21, 2024

Rules & Regulations

Eligibility: The Set Me Free Video Contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.

Entry Period: The contest begins on April 4 and ends on April 21 at 11:00 pm EST (the “Entry Period”).

How to Enter: To enter, participants must follow these steps:

• Watch the movie “Set Me Free.”
• Record a video of themselves answering one of the four contest questions.
• Post the video to their personal Instagram or Facebook page using the hashtag #SetMeFreeMovie.
• Send the video to info@setmefreemovie.com for official entry.
• By submitting an entry, participants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and Regulations.

Contest Questions: Participants must choose one of the following questions to answer in their video entry: 

1. What scene resonated most with you? 

2. What did you learn that you didn’t know before watching Set Me Free?

3. What message in Set Me Free did you NOT agree with? 

4. What would you like to see in the sequel of Set Me Free?

Entry Guidelines:

• Videos must be original and created by the participant submitting the entry.
• Each participant may submit only one entry per contest question.
• Entries must comply with Instagram and Facebook community guidelines (Facebook Policies, Instagram Policies)
• Inappropriate, offensive, or plagiarized content will result in disqualification.

By submitting an entry, participants grant permission for their video to be shared on the Set Me Free Instagram page.

Selection of Winners:

• Each contest question will have its own winner determined separately based on the total number of likes and comments on the respective video entry.
• The entry with the highest combined number of likes and comments for each question will be declared the winner.
• Winners will be notified via email within six weeks following the end of the Entry Period.

Prize: Each winner (four in total, one for each question) will receive the opportunity to be on set, and if desired, appear in a scene in the sequel to Set Me Free, along with one guest of their choice.

• Transportation expenses are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
• Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.

Publicity: By participating in the Contest, participants agree to allow Set Me Free Movie to use their name, likeness, and submit video for promotional purposes without further compensation.

Release of Liability: Participants agree to release and hold harmless Set Me Free Movie, its affiliates, and their respective employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of or related to participation in the contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

General Conditions: Set Me Free Movie reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice. The decisions of the judges are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.

Governing Law: The contest and these Rules and Regulations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Sponsor: The contest is sponsored by Red Heifer Productions, located in Jackson, New Jersey.

By participating in the Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Rules and Regulations.
